Lent Day 6: Faith beyond understanding

We have been made right with God because of our faith. Now we have peace with him because of our Lord Jesus Christ. Through faith in Jesus we have received God’s grace. In that grace we stand. We are full of joy because we expect to share in God’s glory. (Romans 5:1-2)

There's nothing you can do to be right with God. He is so far above us, so perfect, and so incomparable that not one of us measures up. We would die in his presence, had he not provided forgiveness and peace through Jesus Christ.

This plan of rescue is hard to grasp. It is far above our own wisdom, understanding, or plans for world. And yet - and yet -

God himself made a way where there was no way. Do you believe him?

Where (and in whom) does your faith rest? Will you trust your Creator to bring you close to him in HIS way, in HIS timing, whether you fully understand what he has accomplished or not?
