Lent Day 25: Slavedriver

"Work at everything you do with all your heart. Work as if you were working for the Lord, not for human masters. Work because you know that you will finally receive as a reward what the Lord wants you to have. You are slaves of the Lord Christ." Colossians 3:23-24

What's your boss like? Mean? A slavedriver?

What are your parents like? Hard on you?

Do you ever feel like all you do is work and work some more, without getting any promotion or reward?l That can be frustrating.

But what if you changed your thinking completely?

Jesus didn't have much prestige or get a big salary raise, but he knew he was working for a big reward. Bigger than any of us can imagine.

So, what if - no matter what your job or chores - you decided to work as though your reward was coming from the boss of Jesus (rather than the person who's ordering you around)?
