Lent Day 15: What kind of tree are you?

"You can tell each tree by its fruit. Do people pick grapes from bushes? Do they pick figs from thorns? In the same way, every good tree bears good fruit. But a bad tree bears bad fruit. Matthew 7:16-17

The same tree can even bear good fruit and bad. Our jackfruit tree bears lots of fruit - but the worms get some and a few fall off without ripening. There are many reasons why fruit can spoil before it's ready to harvest. We're always happy to get good fruit that we can share with others.

What kind of fruit is evident in your life? How could you put a sweet taste in someone's mouth with goodness, a kind word, or gentleness today?
