Lent Day 30: Showered with moral goodness
Sow righteousness for yourselves,
reap the fruit of unfailing love,
and break up your unplowed ground;
for it is time to seek the Lord,
until he comes
and showers his righteousness on you.
Hosea 10:12 NIV

Everyone wants dignity and significance? Imagine God showering us with his righteousness. What a wonder!
We'd have to be the "apple of his eye" (pupil) for him to go through so much trouble. And that's what scripture compares us to. Doesn't that make you feel special? To be fully known and yet so cherished, protected, and loved?
Keep me as the apple of your eye;
hide me in the shadow of your wings,
Psalm 17:8 ESV
