Lent Day 29: He is for me

In my distress I prayed to the Lord, and he
answered me and rescued me.

He is for me! How can I be afraid? What
can mere man do to me?
The Lord is on my side; he will help me.
Let those who hate me beware.

It is better to trust the Lord than to put
confidence in men.
Psalm 118:5-8  TLB

Blooms in a planting strip along the street
God is for us.

There are many things that may make our knees knock, our fingers shake, or our nerves quiver with fear.

Oh to live with such trust in God that we remain wise enough to consider risks and options ... but courageous enough to follow the Shepherd wherever he leads!
