Lent Day 11: God knows it all
Great is our Lord, and abundant in power;
his understanding is beyond measure.
Psalm 147:5 ESV
Seems sometimes like we hardly understand a thing. How does God keep the details of each person's story and the intricacies of life sorted out?

I missed two days of writing due to moving to next door. We've worked and worked on the place where we first landed in Bandung but it's not a longterm solution for life and ministry. A family from Texas arrived for a visit this week and agreed to maintain the house while we sleep next door. They are delighted to have a short-term landing strip while they attend language school nearby.
Without their help, we'd constantly be running back and forth to check on things. The landlord still has our $1000 damage deposit and that won't come back until August. It's in perfect condition (as far as we can make it) but if we let it stand empty, the house will decay. We'll stop by regularly, but the family is clean, neat, and handy around the house. Perfect for both of us.
Great is the Lord! He is worthy of praise today. How is he providing for you? How is the mystery that is life unfolding around you?
