Lent Day 8: In your heart of hearts

How lovely is your dwelling place,
    Lord Almighty!

My soul yearns, even faints,
    for the courts of the Lord;
my heart and my flesh cry out
    for the living God.
--------------------
Psalm 84:1-2 NIV

What do you yearn for?

Here's a quick exercise to consider what is important to you:

Think about the last week. Or maybe the last 2 weeks. Then write down 5 ideas at the forefront of your mind (or activities in your day/s).

How does what you've thought about - or what you've done - reflect what you most hope and yearn for? Are your thoughts and actions a reflection of your deepest values? Why or why not?

Blessings - and may your heart of hearts long for time with God today, just as the song-writer's did.
